Do What You Love ~ Love What You Do!
I’ve always been of a creative nature and never without an “artistic
endeavor.” My family humored and encouraged these affectations, if not
always understanding the imaginative outcomes. I completed my jewelry apprenticeship
(under the guidance of a 3rd generation jeweler) in 1996, and spent the next
four years participating in shows throughout the Washington D.C metro area. This
was an exciting time in my life - my passion for creating wearable art was becoming
a reality and I developed friendships I’ll have for a lifetime.
The year 2000 was full of personal achievements - I’d
completed 18 years in the US Navy; met and married Dennis, who shares my
passion for jewelry design;
and transferred to Fort Bragg, NC to complete my Naval career. My greatest
achievement came in 2003 when our son Connor was born.
Traveling the world during my Naval career, I was influenced by each country,
which I believe is reflected throughout my collection. The classic weaves found
in Italian architecture, contemporary styles of the Netherlands, and timeless
traditional looks from the British Isles, inspired me to begin using heavier
and thicker gauge wires, resulting in the unique design of each piece I make.
Every
year I find myself coming up with new designs; and being more excited,
inspired, and pleased than the last piece. I endlessly strive for the
most unusual, well designed, and “never before seen” bracelet. My
passion is mixing colors, sizes, and shapes of the wire for styles
that range from elegant to casual. I personally guarantee all my work,
ensuring each piece
you own, will bring a lifetime of compliments, pleasure, and enjoyment.
Thank
you for allowing me to share my passion with you.
